A Simple Shape, A Multidimensional Workplace Campus

Unigroup Digital Technology Co., Ltd, New Headquarters

Beijing, China | 1,200,000 sf

Capitalizing on opportunities offered by the simple shape of a square, a new workplace campus maximizes its site.
The three parcels that make up Unigroup's campus all leverage the efficiency of the square in their design, but each does so in a slightly unique way. The effect is unifying, maximizes the site, and also allows room for individuality in the design.

The new innovation park for Unigroup Digital Technology Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of micro chip giant Tsinghua Unigroup, is located at the intersection of two important development belts in Beijing.

The development of three adjacent sites will create a new manufacturing, workplace, and research headquarters for Unigroup’s H3C subsidiary. H3C comprises approximately 5,000 employees who manufacture hardware, develop cloud computing and create other digital solutions across a range of industries. The new headquarters will include a 17-story office building with a public lobby, research and non-research office floors, an exhibition center, cafeteria, and meeting rooms. The project will also deliver flexible, speculative office space that can adapt to Unigroup’s emerging growth and give them the option to lease it to compatible tenant companies also working in the technology research and innovation industry.
