AND THE WINNER IS… The Edge on 4th
Louisville’s 2019 Commercial Real Estate Awards have been announced, and GBBN-designed The Edge on 4th was acknowledged as the Best Residential Project. Louisville Business First, which bestows the honors, cited the project for helping bring a critical mass of residents to support Louisville’s Fourth Street Live theater district as well as the many upscale amenities the building’s courtyard offers. In an urban district where garden space is in short supply, we created different zones—for swimming, lounging and growing—to enhance life for the residents. But this experience is not limited to residents alone. Thanks to how our design team split the structure, anyone walking by gets strategic, and enticing glimpses of green.
