“One of the biggest changes in healthcare [as a result of COVID-19] has been the impact to our healthcare workforce and our care providers,” says GBBN Michael Lied on the most recent episode of the Healthcare Interior Design 2.0 podcast. “Seeing that 25% of our care providers, in a recent survey, are considering leaving the profession is really tough.”

In this two-part episode, podcast host Cheryl Janis talks to two of GBBN’s healthcare design experts: Director of Healthcare Michael Lied and Principal Angela Mazzi about a broad range of healthcare design topics including: the stress felt by healthcare professionals, positive changes driven by the pandemic, and health generating design strategies that help facilitate positive outcomes.

Produced by Porcelanosa in partnership with the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, the Center for Health Design, and the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design, the Healthcare Interior Design 2.0 podcast features conversations with the world’s top wellness leaders and healthcare design professionals that explore the latest innovations, protocols, and best practices in healthcare design.
