We study project location and proximity to public transportation, food sources, and walkable amenities; analysis of massing and building orientation; placement of windows to capture daylight, reduce glare, and maintain thermal comfort.

Net Zero by 2030
As signatories of the American Institute of Architects 2030 Commitment, we’ve pledged to design all our projects to achieve Net Zero Energy by 2030 and Net Zero Carbon by 2050. We use Passive House strategies to boost insulation and eliminate thermal bridges, so buildings are comfortable to be in no matter where you sit, walk, or eat. We help clients leverage the carbon stored in their existing buildings through adaptive reuse strategies and designs that work with efficient and resilient energy systems.
