Michael Grage
AIA
Principal
If asked about his key strength as an architect, Michael will say, “I listen to my clients.” While he was drawn to architecture by the way it weaves together art and science, what Michael loves about healthcare architecture is the way it involves client and architect in a sustained process of conversation and discovery. Working with nursing staff, doctors, and other caregivers, Michael uses his 20 years of experience in design and project management to ensure every voice is heard and the most comprehensive design solution is found. If he’s not in the office, Michael might be found paddling through Minnesota’s Boundary Waters or travelling with his family.
