GBBN Joins Cincinnati 2030 District

GBBN is pleased to announce that it has joined the Cincinnati 2030 District. Facilitated by the region’s sustainability alliance, Green Umbrella, the district is a membership organization dedicated to creating “a network of healthy, high-performing buildings in the city of Cincinnati.”

As part of the network, GBBN joins other partner organizations—primarily property owners and managers, developers, and commercial tenants—in committing to reducing our energy use, water consumption, and transportation emissions by 50% by 2030.

As a Professional Partner, GBBN will also help other members meet these goals in their buildings by sharing our sustainability and design expertise.

Cincinnati’s 2030 District is part of a larger urban sustainability strategy that has developed a national network of districts within 20 cities with over 1,100 members committed to the sustainable management of over 506 million SF of commercial building space.

“The 2030 District helps bring together businesses and building industry experts around a shared goal of achieving significant energy, water, and emissions reductions. These commitments align with our Sustainability Action Plan and firmwide vision,” says GBBN’s Director of Sustainability and Resilience, Tiffany Broyles Yost, “We’re excited to meet these goals in our operations and work with 2030 District partners and our clients on  their buildings. The time to act is now.”
