DX is Back!

Our Design Expedition is back! After a three-year COVID hiatus, GBBN’s Design Expedition (DX), one of our signature inter-office design explorations, will bring together employees from across our US offices to travel and explore architecture in an urban environment. Previous DXs have taken us to Philadelphia, Toronto, San Franciso, and London. Our destination for 2023: Vancouver!

Our focus this year is exploring work that is representative of integrative design thinking— work that is representative of a multidisciplinary approach to create design solutions that both artfully solve complex problems and recognize the potential of architecture to address broader social issues and environmental issues and their impact on communities. Exploring and exchanging ideas about architecture are on the agenda, as well as deepening connections across all our offices and disciplines.

As with our Design Issues Series, allows us time to step back from our day-to-day work. These programs help us leverage skills, perspectives, experience, and insights from across our firm, engage with the broader community, and build a culture of design.
